The Wall

Fell by a prayer

Carried by a whisper on a breath

held for a thousand lifetimes.

No hammers mighty blow,

Nor swords righteous thrust

penetrate stones heavy with tears.

Heaven’s gate found not the summit for man's or angel's desperate try.

Barrier seen by the blind; no gates at hand,

Patience offers no resolve.

Silent pleas,

hallowed hope, from within its bounds

heard with enlightened ears.

Speak a silent prayer,

quiet,

 a single word;

Love.

With ease, the inner sanctum found.

Only a shadow;

the wall.
