No Wall
I have no wall.
I hear their call.
Their cries and sighs,
I hear them all.
But when it's time
for me to need,
there is no wall
to catch my pleads.
Her Smile
I wonder why,
how wide or narrow;
how low or high;
or buried sorrow.
There is only one truth,
her silent boast,
when she is hiding,
it shines the most.
A hidden secret,
a subtle ghost,
a moment when an angel fell,
a moment surely she'll
never tell.
For hers is light,
no shadow cast.
A lesser moment
would never last.
